The Technologies Group was founded in 1978. It was based on “Technologies” - a professional magazine aimed at providing technological information for the electronics industry in Israel.
The Israeli electronics industry numbers 3,000 companies generating a total annual turnover of $20 billion and is a sector that enjoys steady growth.
Over the years, the group has developed a basket of supplementary products, including “Technologies” a magazine that publishes 15 issues a year, “High Technologies” a large annual exhibition, Conventions Center with 40 conventions and seminars, "Technologies Buyers Guide" – a hi-tech buyers' guide, an interactive website to obtain price quotations for about 50,000 families of electronic items and "TechNews" - part of the series of Technology Group's e-zines.
Every year about 20,000 high-tech professionals participate in the group’s events.
The Technologies Group is based on a current and detailed database comprised of 80,000 electronic engineers and professionals in the hardware and software development, production, purchasing and administration of over 3,000 technology companies in Israel. These high-tech professionals require up-to-date information on components, equipment, systems, hardware, and services produced all over the world by some 6,000 industry leading manufacturers. The up to date information they need covers tens of thousands of technological items that are rapidly upgraded and marketed in Israel by hundreds of distributors, representative companies, and other marketers. The Technologies Magazine
Technologies magazine is the largest and longest-standing high-tech publication in Israel with a readership of tens of thousands of professionals in development, engineering, production, purchase and administrative personnel in the Israeli high tech arena. Most of the international information appearing in it is obtained based on a publishing rights acquisition agreement with the US publisher UBM Publication, the world leader in the field of electronics engineering.
Every issue contains up-to-date information partly based on "Electronic Engineering Times", a US magazine published by the UBM group, and on articles and studies from the local market, together with hundreds of news items about components, equipment, and their sources of supply. Technologies is an indispensable tool for engineers, purchasing and administrative professionals to stay current on the latest up-to-date technological news.
Technologies Group has the largest and most up-to-date professional technology employee database in Israel. As part of its diverse range of activities, the Technologies Group is in touch every day with approximately 1,000 engineers. Technologies Buyers' Guide
"Technologies Buyers' Guide" was founded 30 years ago. It is a computerized and indispensable tool for locating and disseminating requests for quotations (RFQs) for components, equipment, material, and services for the Israeli electronics industry
Tens of thousands of engineers and approximately 3,000 purchasing managers and buyers in more than 3,000 enterprises in Israel are developing electronic products and searching for sources of supply. New components and technologies are being announced at an extremely rapid pace. Therefore, the ability to quickly and efficiently locate suitable technological items at low cost is a regular challenge that purchasing and development personnel face constantly.
"Technologies Buyers' Guide" includes a database of 50,000 technological items, 6,000 global manufacturers, and hundreds of Israeli representatives and distributors. The system has been updated regularly for years.
"Technologies Buyers' Guide" is an online web system available free of charge to engineers, purchasing managers and buyers.
Today, "Technologies Buyers' Guide" is the only tool in Israel for finding technological items, sources of supply, and online delivery of requests for price quotations. Over 6,000 RFQ’s a month are communicated through the system.

Conventions and Seminars
The Technologies Group founded its Conference Center in 1991. Since then, it holds about 40 technological conventions and seminars per year.
The conventions deal in all the main fields of the electronics industry: component development, avionics, defense, etc. Participation in the conventions exhibitions has proven to be an extremely effective marking tool for high-tech suppliers.
An up-to-date database is clearly essential for holding successful conventions. The success of a convention is judged by its ability to attract most of the people dealing in a given subject. The group’s diverse activities enable it to maintain an up-to-date and extensive database – the largest of its kind in Israel. The company’s in-house telemarketing center maintain daily contact with approximately 1,000 engineers. The database is therefore updated through direct discussions, together with updates from readers and visitors at conventions and exhibitions.
The high-tech convention center is exposed to, and is part of the global technological forefront. Its contributors include hundreds of specialists world renowned in various fields, who lecture at the group’s events.

TechNews, part of the series of Technology Group's e-zines, sets a new standard for the distribution of targeted technological information. The Technology Group manages the largest and most up-to-date database of engineering and administrative professionals in the local electronics industry. Based on this database, TechNews' e-zines are disseminated by target audience to the relevant professionals only and provide the latest state-of-the-art technological information in the field.
